Positive/Negative Volume 9 consists of 35 students. The major tasks of the magazine were coordinated by 21 students who were elected by the class to serve as the magazine staff. This volume of Positive/Negative Magazine is the result of the leadership and dedication of this team and the entire class.

Two art directors are the executives of the magazine; they create the overall vision for the unique volume, coordinate staff meetings participate in fund-raising, offer suggestions to class members, and keep the project on target and on schedule.
Two designers are responsible for the design of the magazine and it is their responsibility to ensure that all specifications are met. In-depth knowledge of Indesign and production processes are necessary.
Two photographers are responsible for supporting class members in photo selection and editing to ensure consistent image quality throughout the magazine.
Four production editors manage all components of the digital asset management and physical production of the magazine. Their primary focus is working with the Printing Applications Lab to ensure that all digital files are properly prepared before going to press. Additional concerns involve paper acquisition, communication with outside vendors, creation of file requirements and naming conventions, budgeting, scheduling, and overall project management.
Three editors work with all class members and a professional copy editor to ensure that all articles are original, well written and correctly cited.
Two editors ensure that there is a good balance of positive and negative articles and are responsible for the sequencing of the magazine.
Web/Video/Social Media Team
The media team is in charge of producing the electronic / interactive edition of the magazine. This team also creates and manages the entire web presence of the magazine, including the website and video content.
